Made in Shoreditch: Music Factory 2013

Made in Shoreditch Music Factory has launched. For the next two month we will be looking for the coolest and most innovative bands and artists . Made in Shoreditch Magazine will give away it’s online platforms for artists who want to showcase their hard work, to promote themselves and to be judged by the coolest and most critical community in town – if you can make it here you can make it anywhere. Also, the winners will have a chance to play at the final event for the music industry sharks and the No1 will win a chance to record at historic Strongroom studios so everyone who is doing something unique should apply.

What will happen?

Competition – 17th of September – 14th November:

– Successful applicants will have band profiles uploaded to the Made in Shoreditch portal

– The applicants will have until 14 of November to promote their posts and generate as many  Likes, Retweets, Traffic to their post as they can.

Final event –  end of November (TBC):

–  The Top 6 applicants will perform at the live in event – Made in Shoreditch: Music Factory.

Who can apply?

We are looking for cool up and coming as well as established bands/artist to apply:

Style: Indie /Pop/Rock –  but we will consider the applications of other styles as well.

Format: Bands or solo artists

How to apply?

It is very simple, just send us your info to events@madeinshoreditch.co.uk

– the video (link) of your best song on Youtube/Vimeo;

– the picture (landscape) and short bio (up to 300 words) about the band;

– the links to your website, blog and social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube)

Judging

Your audience will be the judges. Applicants will be judged on factors including (but not limited to) to number of likes, retweets, traffic to their post, comments and originality.

T&C

If you are in Top 6,  you must be able to perform 4-5 songs during the show. Finalists should organize their own travel expenses , delivery of their instruments and pick them up from the venue after the event.
