For the first collaboration after the bank holiday weekend on 26th September, The Hydra are teaming up with famous London club XOYO and The Magician to present Potion – featuring a set from The Magician himself, as well as performances from Karma Kid and house music veteran Blonde.

On 27th September, The Hydra host one of Lovebox festival’s special After Dark, featuring man-of-the-moment Ben Westbeech performing as Breach and a live set from the diverse Legowelt.

Stepping up on 4th October is Bugged Out, famous for excellent London parties, who present Dusky – The Next Step. This night’s colossal line up comprises a marathon 6 hour set from the Dusky boys as well as a slot from none other than Juan Atkins. What’s more, Will Saul will be playing b2b with Trevino and Zed Bias and Paleman are doing the same.

On the 25th October, things get celebratory: Omar S’ FXHE Records turns 10 this year and Boddika’s record labelNonPlus+ is five. The label owners themselves will of course be spinning, and they bring a troupe of artists to help mark their anniversaries: Kyle Hall and Kassem Mosse, who will be performing in the wake of his superb ‘Workshop 19’ release from earlier this year. Also stepping up for this one Moritz Von Oswald who will bring a special hybrid Live / DJ set.

The Hydra’s next partner is Full Pupp, the Norwegian Disco House label run by Prins Thomas and Stevie Kotey, now synonymous with ‘leftfield space disco’, which it will showcase in a 10th Anniversary edition on 31st October. Full Pupp team up with all four of the Horse Meat Disco team – the collective that brought the disco scene back to London. Also spinning are Lindstrom, Espen Haa, Blackbelt Andersen and a secret guest so special that it will be worth the suspense…

Cologne based record label Kompakt and famous event organisers/record label Electric Minds will be teaming up for the next event at the Hydra, taking place on 8th November. The crowd will see three DJs, each huge in their own right:Moodymann, Joey Anderson and Leon Vynehall – and they might even be joined by more names later on…

The collaboration on the 5th of October is between Berlin-based Techno label Leisure System, going head to head withHoundstooth Records, the artist-led record label from Fabric. Bass is flavour of the day, with sets from Special Request, Akkord, Objekt and Dopplereffect performing live.

On 28th November Magda, Troy Pierce and Marc Houle represent their Berlin label Items & Things. Joining them on the decks is a guest The Hydra and Items&Things are thrilled to have: the one and only Miss Kittin. The collaboration on the 5th of December is between Gerd Janson’s label Running Back and Theo Parrish’s Sound Signature: an amalgamation of seminal musical cities, Frankfurt and Detroit. Theo Parrish will be returning to Studio Spaces E1 for this show, spinning alongside Redshape, Maurice Fulton, Marcellus Pittman and a very special guest TBA further down the line.

Moving in to December, on the 12th The Hydra welcomes Ostgut Ton, Berghain’s own label, to take over Studio Spaces E1.  With artists such as Ryan Elliott and Anthony Parasol already locked in, and more set to join them in the pipeline, the night is sure to showcase the exceptional music that has made Berghain’s own reputation so powerful.

With no concession having been made to The Hydra’s mantra thus far – ‘Exceptional Music, presented expertly’ – and now with one venue to hold all these events and the first line ups revealed, it really will be substance over hype to the highest degree.
