The opening of The Tasting Room will be the centre of attention at London’s longest-running outdoor ice rink in Broadgate. Designed to provide a dreamy destination for Londoners to ‘fill their boots’ with the best craft beer, authentic smoked street food and artisan cuisine, the pop-up has been launched by some of London’s most acclaimed food and beverage experts.

The fantastic foodies behind The Tasting Room include Dan O’Neill, Sourced Market Co- Founder and ex Lovebox Festival Chairman and David Carter, Smokestack Founder and ex General Manager of Roka restaurant. Drinks will be courtesy of pop-up experts Peppermint Bars, serving craft beers from London’s finest breweries, winter cocktails, bourbons and signature wines.

Londoners will be in for a smoking hot feast with a Texas inspired BBQ of smoked meats cooked onsite, including pulled pork buns, ribs, chicken wings and beef brisket as well as smoked canapés, and freshly prepared salads. For the early bird in and around the capital, London’s finest gourmet doughnuts from Crosstown and an exclusive coffee blend by London roasters, Mission Coffee will be served from 7:30am on week days, and 10am at the weekend.

The trio behind The Tasting Room share a deep seated passion for the taste and provenance of authentic street food and an exceptional drinks offering – a passion you can see in the food and drinks on offer, and awesome interiors to match. The carefully selected and responsibly sourced meat is cooked slowly on site for hours and the beers have been handpicked from London breweries, as well as others on tap.

Dan O’Neill, Co-Founder of Sourced Market says The Tasting Room has it all: “We’ve designed The Tasting Room to satisfy everyone’s tastebuds, from a swift ‘best in class’ bacon butty and exclusively blended Mission coffee for breakfast, to a craft beer and smoked meat feast at night – there’s something for everyone, at any time of the day.The Tasting Room shows the potential of street food and a pop-up ambience to provide an alternative to the traditional hospitality scene, offering a well-presented venue and menu for social gatherings and food fixes, without sacrificing quality or class.”
