You’re probably making your new-year resolutions by now. We‘d like to apologise in advance, as you’ll have a tough time keeping them with Fluttr’s release on the way. The soon to be launched platform will provide you with a constant stream of upcoming parties you won’t want to miss out on.

We wrote about this new platform a few weeks ago. At the time, they’d announced that they were about to launch in London, but didn’t provide further details about when it was to happen.

Fluttr will open its doors to a first batch of 15 000 people at the start of January. Until then you can still get yourself an invite on their website.

For those who missed it, Fluttr is the new music events discovery platform created by a team of young entrepreneurs based in Shoreditch. An invitation-only network that lets you share your best nights out with your followers.

Reading about a deep house night in between a football game and a theatre event does not provide a good experience anymore. Those are very different things. Last time I caught up with James Kay, CEO, he explained, “We do not try to be everything for everyone. We want to be the most relevant platform for those who truly love music when it comes to discovering events.”

By letting you chose which accounts you want to follow (friends, DJs, events, clubs), the platform allows you to quickly browse through multiple upcoming events which are the most relevant to you, based on your music and party tastes. The idea is simple enough to make us change the way we’ll discover great nights out.
