For all of you nature lovers comes the TreexOffice. This space, constructed around a tree in Hoxton Square, is now available for free two-hour shifts for the next week (10-14 August). Any businesses who are interested must just sign up by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The TreexOffice fits around eight people and has a seating area and a whiteboard inside. It also has wifi. The structure itself is modern and sustainable. The office is suspended off the ground, just like a tree house would be, with a beautiful set of stairs leading to the inside. Since the walls are made up of tiny windows (which can be opened as to look outside) and the ceiling is clear, natural light engulfs the whole space. This gives it a natural and organic feeling that is perfect for new businesses with a fresh perspective. This office is ideal for businesses with environmental or sustainable interests as it portrays the beauty of nature.
The offer of the space is available thanks to Groundwork London, Artsadmin and Hackney Council as part of the Park Hack project. The office has eight individual spaces that can be rented and could even work for small events or meetings. After the trial period in August, the spaces will be up for hire for a fee or free for community members on the weekends.
