Notting Hill Sales has unveiled its newest development for the Royal Docks. This is the largest development to date for the company, starting with the first stage of its private sales homes, a flagship development on the Royal Albert Wharf. Notting Hill Sales will not only be creating an entirely new waterside neighbourhood beside the Royal Docks but it will also be contributing to the dock’s wider masterplan to attract new businesses with new commercial opportunities as well as incubator spaces for start-ups.

Royal Albert Wharf will transform the area into an entirely new waterside community and living destination in this historic part of East London, keeping the 100-year old working pump house at the heart of the development to remind residents of the site’s rich heritage. The developments proximity to the river means that residents will have access to a range of watersport activities including sailing, canoeing, waterskiing and wakeboarding.

The first phase comprises 350 new homes in total to include 123 private sale homes, 72 Shared Ownership homes/ flexible product, 82 target and affordable rent units, 73 private rent homes) as well as the aforementioned incubator space for start-up businesses. Launching from Savills’ new Canary Wharf offices, Notting Hill Sales will release the first 27 private sale homes off plan at the preview launch and will offer interested buyers the first view of the development’s master plan.

Chief Executive of Notting Hill Sales, Kate Davies, has said of the project: “Royal Albert Wharf is a large and exciting development for Notting Hill Sales. Rooted in an historic part of London, which is now receiving a great deal of investment we are confident that this area will provide a great place to live over the next few years; with Royal Albert Wharf creating an entirely new neighbourhood in its own right. Royal Albert Wharf will have waterside, great connectivity, jobs, education and a range of homes to suit different needs and pockets.”

Whether travelling by land, water or air, Royal Albert Wharf is perfectly placed for transport connections to surrounding East London and London’s major business centres, the City of London and Canary Wharf.
