Filmmaker Eddie Alcazar‘s FUCKKKYOUUU is now available to watch online with music by experimental musician Flying Lotus. His short film was officially selected for the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and was shown at the World Premiere Sundance Next Fest and AFI Fest in 2015.

Shot on black and white film, the short tells the story of a girl’s quest for gender identity. She does so by traveling back in time to find her old self.  The cinematic shots, music and sounds are extremely haunting, even horrifying. Perhaps this is a scene from her mind; the dark and gritty dreamscapes leave us utterly frightened. The plot was hard to follow, and often left us confused.  Although Alcazar’s film left us unsure, it sparked a lot of fascination.
