I own and run the business and it pretty much feels like the friends café – no holes barred!! A unique and relaxing experience in the heart of Shoreditch, our Boudoir Beauty Parlour is the perfect place to go for an indulgent and rejuvenating time without breaking the bank. We always update our treatment menu with the latest cosmetic procedures and offer something new every season. We also like to help our clients save money, during our off peak times you’ll get a small discount. We have special offers, be sure to check these out on our online booking portal. We go that extra step and do things a little differently, by providing you with the time and best service possible and great products to leave you feeling pampered. To make life easier for our clients we have an online booking system so that they can book their treats around the clock 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. We have a wide range of treatments designed to relax, uplift and make you look simply gorgeous. Manicures and Pedicures, Skinbreeze Facials, Spray Tanning, Waxing, Boudoir Lashes Semi Permanent Eyelash Extensions to name a few.
What inspired you to start?
I always wanted to work for myself, and working within the beauty and retail sector I felt that there wasn’t that homely feel going to a beauty salon everything was clinical and rules orientated. I wanted to create an atmosphere where clients can be who they are no matter what shape, race, colour, creed etc. Boudoir Beauty Parlour brings all of that together.
Also I wanted to be my own boss so I took a huge risk and jumped. I want to be an inspiration to other women and tell them that you can do whatever you want – just believe in yourself.
What is unique about Boudoir Beauty Parlour
We create treatments bespoke to each client, what you require one week may not be what you need the next. We also have quite a laid back approach, we are not a spa nor are we looking to be a spa. Its a place where you go for high quality treatments in a unique and intimate setting. We don’t only do beauty we talk to our clients as individuals and discuss more than just a simple wax or facial. We take the time to get to know our clients on a much personal level. We don’t just do treatments we actually help them with more than just their body and skin we look at them as a whole – Body Mind and Soul.
Do you have any celebrities using your services?
Over the years we have built up quite a few celebrity clients these include Btraits (Radio One DJ), Rosie Fortescue (Made in Chelsea) Jessica Wright (Towie), Lauren Pope (Towie) along with industry professionals such as Anne-Marie Curtis (ELLE Magazine) to name a few.
Why did you choose Shoreditch to run your business?
I Chose Shoreditch because of its eclectic mix of streetart, culture, food, central location and also because it was an up and coming area so I wanted to get into the area first! It also helps being close to home I live in Stokey!
What are your favorite businesses in Shoreditch?
My favourite businesses in Shoreditch are Le Labo – their fragrances are divine I’m a fan of Santal and Rose. I also love Acne and Tracey Neuls. I go to Radio Hair Salon for my blowdrys, Corrado and his team are brilliant!
My favourite place of all time to eat is Franze and Evans the endless supply of fine cakes and fresh cuisine is to die for. A must for any visitor to Shoreditch. For something a bit more formal I love Hoi Polloi especially on a Sunday as they have a string quartet and last but not least Shoreditch House on the 6th is my favourite hideaway especially the secret garden!
What does the future has in store for your business?
I’m hoping to have a few more branches and maybe do some popups in different countries so watch this space.
