For two nights only, London’s famous York Hall will be transformed into a Mexican Arena, transporting audiences to a timeless era where legends and new Lucha stars battle in epic live confrontations of Good vs. Evil. Presenting a stellar line-up of Mexican and British stars, ‘The Greatest Spectacle Of Lucha Libre’ will feature the mighty Silver King (aka Ramses in the film Nacho Libre), international wrestling star Juventud ‘Juvi’ Guerrera, Brazilian capoeira masked luchador Zumbi, high-flying luchador Cielito, El Paso’s magnificent Magno as well as Mexico’s female stars Lady Apache and Chika Tormenta. They will be joined by the UK’s own Lucha Libre stars, the heroes of ‘Lucha Britannia’, featuring the exótico Cassius and the incredible Pure Britannico amongst others.

THE GREATEST SPECTACLE OF LUCHA LIBRE at York Hall - Lucha Libre, which translates as “free fighting”, is a Mexican style of wrestling where fighters enter the ring in flamboyant capes and outlandish suits, wear mythical and colourful masks, perform acrobatic moves and fly from spectacular heights.

Now famous the world over, Lucha Libre is a one-of-a-kind experience of jaw-hanging, riotous fun that once seen, is never forgotten. Translated as “free fighting”, Lucha Libre is a Mexican style of wrestling where fighters enter the ring dressed in flamboyant capes and outlandish suits, wearing mythical and colourful masks, and performing acrobatic moves and flying from spectacular heights. Traditionally divided into Rudos, who use underhanded tactics and break the rules, and Técnicos, who play by the rule book and use more complex and spectacular moves, each Luchadore has his own distinct character. More than just regular wrestlers, Luchas are regarded as iconic legends and the superheroes of Mexico.

Throughout the events spectators can enjoy performances from London’s cabaret scene, as well as colourful performers and ring girls.  For the peckish, delicious and authentic Mexican street-food will accompany feisty agave cocktails and tequila shots courtesy of Jose Cuervo.
