To celebrate the August bank holiday weekend, the glorious long weekend that marks the final days of summer, The Blues Kitchen Shoreditch is hosting Boogaloo Boil – Unlimited Crawfish Dinner, straight from the lantern-lit backyards of Southern Louisiana. On Sunday 28 August, the Boogaloo Boil will transport guests to the American South where they’ll sit around huge communal tables and feast on unlimited crawfish, mountains of sides and Bulleit bourbon punch.

Learn how to eat crawfish the Louisianan way before washing down steaming buckets of the stuff along with ice cold beer and bourbon punch. To accompany the crawfish a selection of sides will include sweet cornbread, fiery okra, smoked Andouille sausage and buttery red potatoes.

Alongside the delicious food, live music will play throughout the Boogaloo Boil event and long into the night. During the day Dom Pipkin sets the scene with his New Orleans style blues, in the evening bad-ass brass band Old Dirty Brasstards headline and with support from resident band Atlantic Soul Orchestra.
The boil itself will take place from 2-5 pm. Tickets include bottomless crawfish, live music and complementary bourbon punch for the day. Anyone who purchases a ticket can stick around after the boil and take in the music for as long as they please.

To mark their first crawfish boil in Shoreditch, The Blues Kitchen are giving Made in Shoreditch readers the chance to Win 2 Tickets to the event. To enter simply send us an email to info@madeinshoreditch.co.uk (subject line ‘Boogaloo Boil’) or tag your friend on Facebook under this post.

*Competition ends Tuesday 9th August.
