Just in time for the Halloween, there is a new show coming out on Insight TV that will scare your guts off. “Dracula, Escape the Castle” is an original, bloodcurdling show which sees two duos trapped within an authentic Romanian castle, with only one night to escape ‘Dracula’. Based on the escape room trend, it features brave contestants from around the world as they race against time to complete complicated psychological tasks to escape Dracula’s infamous castle in Transylvania, before the Lord of Darkness traps them forever.
#EscapeFromDracula experience in London
To celebrate the launch of “Dracula, Escape the Castle”, Insight TV brought a live Dracula escape room experience to the House of Detention in Clerkenwell, London. The sold out event, used real puzzles and props flown in from Dracula’s castle in Transylvania, including a coffin, creepy dolls and skulls. Visitors were challenged to complete five tasks in a race against the clock before Dracula caught them.
Show is hosted by beloved TV presenter, Brendan Moar, and the contestants vary from lovers and family members, to best friends and colleagues. The duos must face three stages of being locked in room, with the ultimate goal of escaping in the fastest time. The fastest couple to escape the first two rooms gain a 30 second time advantage in the final stage. This final is a frantic race to ignite a giant bat silhouette on the castle courtyard.
