There is something very creative and fun about coming across design projects that use materials in innovative ways. When we stubbled across what Finnish artist Toumas Markunpoika had created, it had to be shared.
Tuomas has taken an ordinary object that we all have lying around the house, the pencil, and made beautiful and unique vases out of them. He takes stacks of pencils and glues them together to create building blocks, which he then uses to create the vases.
