Obscure philosophy of existence by Neeq Serene

Neeq Serene has always been intrigued by the ever-changing and obscure philosophy of existence, which has been her inspiration as a writer, musician and traveler. It wasn’t until she picked up a camera that this intrigue extended to the human form;  our unique faces, expressive features and idiosyncrasies, that make us artwork in ourselves.
In her art photography Neeq explores the plethora of abstract emotions we encounter as endurists, escapists and anarchists in the modern world. Despite our attempts at maintaining a facade, our faces and expressions are projections of the mind, allowing truthful insight into our darker depths. Her inspiration stems from the desire to capture the unveiling of masks beneath masks, revealing a very simple species, united by a sense of universal consciousness.
