Fire in the Evening

The Little Orchestra returns to Shoreditch in May

The Little Orchestra returns to Oval Space in May to perform two pieces inspired by the beauty of the countryside, offering the audience a tranquil, musical escape from the bustle of the city.

The venue will be transformed to reflect Beethoven’s deeply felt hymn to nature, his 6th Symphony, along with Italian composer Ottorino Respighi’s The Birds, a series of magical avian portraits.

The event will be an opportunity to enjoy classical music in a warm, relaxed environment, with the option of a comfy sofa for those who feel like treating themselves. Conductor Nicholas Little shares the stories and ideas behind the music during the concert and afterwards there’s an after-party, with live folk music and a bar open until midnight.

Nature’s Echo continues The Little Orchestra’s Beethoven journey after February’s sold out Fire in the Evening event at York Hall, and as always will be accompanied by a themed drinks selection and a seasonal, vegan-friendly menu.
