Headway East London

Headway East London, a Hackney based charity supporting people affected by brain injury, is bringing the latest in its unique Headway Eats supper clubs with a night of live performance; breaking the boundaries of traditional music making in a technological original collaboration with the City of London Sinfonia.

Utilising the skills, enthusiasm and energy of the charity’s membership*, the three-course menu on offer is the result of development sessions where members are encouraged to explore memories and stories of food to create recipe ideas for the evening, whilst constantly refining their culinary skill sets.

This February 8th will see 40 lucky diners indulge in a three-course meal, cooked, served and eaten alongside brain injury survivors-turned burgeoning chefs; but this time with “The Headway Music Box”; a sonic interactive object created by CLS sound artists and musicians, as the centre piece.
