Think you can spot a fib from a mile away? Come in pairs or with groups of friends to pit facts against fiction in this quick-fire pub quiz that will uncover the science behind fake news.
You’ll need knowledge, a sense of humour and a healthy dose of scepticism to make it through this science-on-fake-news quiz. Join us on Wednesday 22nd November at The Book Club in Shoreditch, and take part in rounds jam-packed with the latest science and the most up-to-date nonsense that is flooding our media. And remember – there’s always a chance for prizes!
Joining the quiz will be Keith O’Brien and Viren Swami. Keith will be sharing insights on the psychology of politics, and is an honorary research fellow at UCL Experimental Psychology and expert in behavioural science. Viren will be revealing the psychology behind conspiracy theories, and is a Professor of Social Psychology at Anglia Ruskin University.
Early Bird tickets £6, Standard tickets £7.99.
