At the AOI we’re delighted to present a new exhibition by our Illustration members at Hoxton Arches this October!
This autumn, we’re exploring what it means to be innovative in the context of illustration; how can this everyday medium be stretched to the creative limits? Focussing on innovation in concepts, formats and media, the exhibition will show the breadth of exciting new processes and work being made today. The exhibition will include prints, animations, three-dimensional work, and more.
Including work by leading international illustrators including Laurie Rowan, Minet Kim and Aleesha Nandhra. The exhibition features an array of work using new apps and software; many of the illustrators featured in the exhibition will show work that is a call to arms to inspire those in other industries to innovate environmentally and technologically.
The exhibition features current AOI members at varying stages of their careers. It is curated by staff at the AOI, who have programmed a series of events for practicing and aspiring illustrators, that will delve into what it means to be innovative in terms of practice and business.
I’ve attached our press pack including lead image, workshop and event details over the duration of the show in a wetransfer link here: https://we.tl/t-0QEqOuf1vy
