The eclectic Jazz Verse Jukebox returns to Hoxton Hall continuing the age-old tradition of combining jazz and performance poetry. With its reputation as on of London’s premier gatherings for spoken word poets and singers, the Jazz Verse Jukebox carries on its 10th anniversary celebrations with an exceptional line-up of wordsmiths and artists. Plus, the unique Jukebox Open Mic offers you the chance to perform your own poetry or sing live on stage.

Curated & hosted by BBC Radio London’s broadcaster and vocalist Jumoké Fashola and the Jazz Verse Jukebox trio, special guests on the night include: Poet, rapper and visual artist HKB FiNN, award-winning spoken word legend Agnes Meadows, activist, editor and poet Grim Chip, British-Nigerian poet Gboyega Odubanjo and slam poetry champion & storyteller Rachel Nwokoro.
