G: What would you say has been your most memorable experience while developing your business?
G: What were the funniest moments that happened while running your business?
D: The photo shoot at the Hitchcock Memorial was quite special, and scary, Dan disappearing in the basement of the Dalston Superstore to sort out a wiring problem was probably his favourite. The fact we are up, running and broadcasting live to over 1,000 people in under 10 weeks is a delight everyday and makes us all smile.
G: Tell us about DO’s and DON’Ts when running the company?
D: Do be bold and ask as many of your friends to help and get involved, don’t assume they will.
G: Why do you choose Shoreditch to run your business?
G: What/who should help for the development of Shoreditch entrepreneurial community? What this community is still missing?
D: Poetry readings or plays should take place in the underpass at Algate / Whitechapel with a huge investment in candle lighting. Its never not scary in that underpass and could be quite a special place, that isn’t scary. Perhaps the Dragons should give me a call and I’ll sort out the pitch.
G: Who/what are your favorite CEOs/Businesses in Shoreditch?
D: AAK Art Against Knives who have just opened at Box Park – the art they sell is really fantastic and the work they do helping youngsters to be creative is such a wholesome investment in some really bright people.
G: What are your favorite places in Shoreditch?
D: The bandstand just off Shoreditch High street is great, the Hitchcock Memorial is quite special for everyone at Hoxton FM, there’s nothing like the flower market on Columbia Road on a Sunday. Broadway Market at any time of day is always bustling and London Fields has the freshest bohemian vibe in the summer.
G: What does the future has in store for Shoreditch?
D: Greater access for everyone to get here with the new East London Line, further interest for people to come visit during the Olympics and probably saturation point at some stage when we all leave and go to Camden or somewhere!
