After launching in 2006, Let Them Eat Cake has become a platform for a generation of new and inspiring fashion designers, writers, stylists, visionaries, and models. With increasing fame, Let Them Eat Cake has become a pool of resource for fashion-hungry culturists the world over. Published once a year, the magazine has garnered a growing audience, most notably with The Observer describing it as ‘the rising star of our generation’. As well as celebrating the best of fashion today, Let Them Eat Cake provides a stage for rising talent, allowing readers a glimpse at the face of fashion tomorrow.

On Thursday night, Made in Shoreditch dropped by local hipster hangout, XOYO, to attend the launch of Let Them Eat Cake’s photographic exhibition; ‘Cover Story’. The Shoreditch style elite gathered in force to view and celebrate the iconic magazine’s fashionable evolution on the eve of London Fashion Week. The exhibition allows viewers an insight into the story of Let Them Eat Cake over the past 6 years and features important shots from the timeline and heart of the magazine. With designers including Vivienne Westwood, Christopher Kane and Hannah Martin, and supporters including Chanel, Let Them Eat Cake is made for both the fashion-maker and reader alike.

XOYO, friend to fashion, music and art, is the perfect space to house this exhibition. ‘Cover Story’ is showing from now until 11th March and is definitely not one to miss. Swing by and BE inspired.

Gallery opening hours are 10-6pm (Monday – Friday)
