P1110095G: Tell us about your business?

Our shop Zone7style is based on Redchurch st. and we specialise in selling clothing and accessories that have played an integral part in the style surrounding subculture. Before our shop we had a private showroom in the same location. We focus on brands from the 1980s and 1990s and our services include hire for film, television and fashion.

G: What are the main challenges maintaining your business and how are you overcoming them?

The main challenges for us in having a shop are always making sure we have new and exciting items on display. There is a lot of competition out there and we strive to keep our business unique while proving specialist services.

G: What would you say has been your most memorable experience while developing your business?

Over the years we’ve worked with some very high profile clients in television, film and fashion. The memorable moments are when you’ve worked hard to build a relationship with a client and then you see the finished product.

G: Why do you choose Shoreditch to run your business?

We’ve been operating out of the Shoreditch area since 2009, We felt that we could get a little bit more space for our money out here and that it still had a lot of potential to grow. 3 years on the area is still growing rapidly.

G: What does the future has in store for Shoreditch?

Shoreditch has become a real destination over the years and what with many designer brands looking for retail space the area is becoming more and more popular. I think Shoreditch will offer a true alternative to the West End with interesting boutiques, cafes and restaurants.
