Sticky Crowd: Glyphics Launches the New Community for Vinyl Art Fans

Glyphics an experience signage company is working together with design agency Crumpled Dog Design and communications agency Ibimidi to launch a unique vinyl art community – Sticky Crowd. Sticky Crowd aims to become a creative hub for Vinyl Art fans – a platform where people will be able to share inspiring designs, exchange ideas and learn about vinyl art. It will bring together not only the vinyl art fans, but also those with interest in interior design, graphic design, illustrations and street art.

IMG_0536Vinyl graphics adds a new dynamic to the recent ‘pop up’ trends. It enables people to redecorate their homes in a matter of minutes. Vinyl prints are simple to apply and remove so people can change the look and feel of a room whenever they fell like it. It gives an opportunity for creative minds to experiment on their own walls without a worry.

Sticky Crowd will showcase all of the fabulous things that can be done with vinyl, decals, sticky art, wall stickers or anything else that you might know it as. It will be a platform for people to share their marvellous vinyl designs, learn from each other and exchange the experience about the creative and production processes of vinyl art.

Competition – Sticky Crowd of ..

Competitions are fun so in order to make everything stickier Sticky Crowd will be running a competition of its own. Graphic designers, illustrators, street artists and anyone else with a creative soul will be welcome to try their luck with the vinyl. People will have a chance to submit their artwork for the competition in order to win some amazing prizes and showcase their artwork at the final exhibition in Shoreditch.

  • Theme: Sticky Crowd of … Shoreditch, Camden, Soho, Notting Hill Gate or wherever you feel the crowd is sticky.
  • Production: You will have to produce an artwork of the Sticky Crowd of your preferred location (Shoreditch, Camden, Soho…) which later could be printed on A1 vinyl.
  • Judging: Your artwork will be posted on Sticky Crowd’s Facebook page/ Twitter page/ Website and judged by Sticky Crowd’s community and selected artists.
