By Night: A friendly house party vibe with live bands, dancers, Belgian beers & quirky cocktails (mulled wine)
Stuck at the quiet end of Curtain road, the Horse and Groom is a good pub which was refurbished some time ago in a fairly traditional style. ‘Traditional’ in this context means fairly upmarket but understated; the overall effect is quite elegant and rather different to the more northerly Hoxtonite destinations or city boy bars further south. However, its location – sitting right on the edge of these two very different areas – is probably one reason why its easier to get a seat here and the atmosphere is more relaxed than other nearby places.

We hold regular social events each week. We’re not your typical ‘club’ venue! Not only do we put on a damn good night out, but we engage and encourage the growth of local artists, musicians, DJs, and performers; working with them to create and promote all sorts of accessible events. We produce evocative and interactive events, curating unpretentious happenings in the club and beyond that give guests not just a great time but an experience to take away.

Good niche fragrances are created by independent perfumers who try to source the best ingredients to create a very imaginative and sometimes quite daring composition. The scents trapped in the bottles or contained within the candles are special and luxurious simply by the virtue of how they are designed and made with so much thought, effort and the truly finest ingredients. We also serve great mulled cider!
