Shoreditch Paintings by Mónica Gomes

Mónica Gomes is a freelancer artist and illustrator based in London. She first start to develop her skills in a cosy and small Fine Art School in Portugal. From there she had chosen watercoulor ink and colour pencils as “my media”. However she still have a big passion about experiment new ways to express herself. Her work is more often described  as colourful, romantic and expressive. She also have a BA Level in Video and Photography where she get an enthusiasm for Video Editing.

Her first Sunday in London, she went to Brick Lane Market because everyone was telling her that she would love, that is a mixture of styles, times, people and smells. And it was true, she fell in love, and it became a religious weekly routine, go all the Sundays to Brick Lane Market.

Was only a few weeks ago she finally decided to go to Columbia Road Flower Market. Close to Brick Lane Market is easy to get there if you come across people who come with flowers. Was a sunny and clear weather. Perfect. Live music in the street, everyone looked happy. She bought some white roses.
