CLoSer in Shoreditch

The City of London Sinfonia presents the next CLoSer (feat. Tim Garland) which is on Wednesday 13 February at Village Underground, Shoreditch. They’ll be teaming up with sax player Tim Garland for an eclectic programme of jazz and orchestral music, featuring Schnittke, Kancheli and a world premiere of Tim’s new piece – Songs to the North Sky.

This night is about taking classical music beyond the concert hall so that audiences can enjoy orchestral music with a fresh perspective. Doors open at 6.45pm and the music begins at 7.30pm. They’ve got a bar open all evening and there’ll be plenty of opportunities to chat with the musicians – it should be a really great evening for all involved!
