This Tuesday was the Press Breakfast at the Lomography Gallery Store, located in the exceptional Newburgh Quarter just off Carnaby Street in Soho. With a warm welcome and the smell of coffee brewing it was time to get the first glimpse of the new Christmas Camera Editions and Accessories Lomo have produced; such as the smartphone film scanner that allows you to scan and upload any picture from the Lomo film on to your phone, meaning in seconds its ready to share on the net. How cool is that?
Also for any digital lovers there’s the experimental lenses kit. With three different lenses allowing you to have fun with your digital camera while discovering multiple exposures, experiment with crazy colour filters and get magical optical effects.
For all the Lomo Fans out there I’m sure you’ll happy to hear that the winter edition of la Sardine St. Mortiz and the Diana F+ Chamonix will be out this week Thursday 7th of November. To be honest I could not take my eyes off them. They both are canvas covered with Christmas themed prints in the festive colours. How much cuter can they get? La Sardine St. Moritz with its Wide- angle perspective is a very practical also convenient camera as it uses all types of 35mm film, making it easy and ideal for any crazy, sporty and adventurous holidays that lay ahead. The Diana F+ Chamonix is great if you want to shoot in squares and create dreamy medium- format photos which are especially perfect for glowing portraits.
I’m sure as the festive season is approaching you will want to shoot away either under the snow or in your cosy indoors but how much better can it get with the new exciting editions Lomo is selling this Christmas. Go and visit your local Lomogarpy store even if it’s just to tempt yourself and take my word you will probably fall in love with most of the New Stock. I definitely know I want some Lomography products under my Christmas tree.
