Tech City Becomes Favourite Destination Of Foreign Startup's

Businesses from Silicon Valley in California, the very namesake of Silicon Roundabout, are using London as their first step into the European market.

Experts say that the rising popularity of Tech City and London’s position as a cultural and internationally diverse city means that start up business are desperate to get a slice of the action. The opening of Google Campus in Kings Cross means that these businesses have even more of an incentive to come to London

Many have said they prefer the collaborative spirit around Old Street as compared to the highly competitive environment of Silicon Valley.

Tech City is not even a decade old but is already in high demand for these enthusiastic start up companies the chairwoman of Tech City Joanna Shields says its because: “..…We have incredible talent, the richness of our creative industries, the highest rates of new businesses starting, tremendous investment opportunities, academic prowess and great companies at every stage of growth”
