G: Tell us about your art: What do you do? What did inspire you to start?

In short I’m a show man, I like to shock and surprise but mostly create intrigue, if I’m not on stage I’m painting.. It sounds obvious but I feel most alive and happy when I’m reacting to the world by creating e it music or art..

Regarding inspiration its all about leavings marks… I needed to kill time a lot going out to work with my dad, he’s a professional portrait artists and sign writer so the natural thing was to be drawing all the time.

G: What is innovative about what you do?

I think coming from the stage in to being massively focused on the visual has made my work playful, I want things to be genuinely entertaining. I pride my self for keeping on my toes and being spontaneous and I want to bring that from the stage to the gallery, creating work fast allows it to be alive, be relevant and react to the world around it. I think there is something so powerful about work that draws people in and makes them smile.

G: What were your most successful projects/exhibitions so far or what projects did you enjoy the most so far? I wanted to delve deeper in to my head and so I teamed up with word leading neurologist professor Sophie Scott who scanned my brain. The results where amazing and t lead to a BBC news and Channel 4 feature.

G: Tell us a bit more about your current project?

A.D.O is my current project and debut solo exhibition. A.D.O is a play on the term A.D.D. as it stands for Attention deficit Order as opposed to disorder. I was given many labels as a child trying to determine my mental process all of which y the time I was 16 they then said I did not have. These labels are inaccurate and make young people feel incorrect. Al of the qualities I was told would be unproductive have lead to this huge body of work and I am celebrating this. My short attention span has created the order in my life and I am proud of this.

G: How would you describe the art scene in Shoreditch/East London? Why is it unique?

Variety makes for better creativity. We have so much here from underground skill to high-end creatives its mazing. We are exposed to so much talent and criticism it makes you think. What I d miss is more new talent on the streets, I think its become very tame and it seems people are scared to go big these days…

G: Who/what are your favorite Artists/Businesses in the area?

End of Line are an amazing company, they have such a huge amount to offer the area and their head artist Jim Vision is a beast…

G: What are your favorite places in Shoreditch?

Cowling and Will Cox, Chrome and Black and that Amazing paper shop near Hoxton… As for a venue you cant really mess with Village Underground, run by great people and great events….

G: What are your future plans?

I’m going to get this exhibition done and then I’m heading to Snowboming to support The Prodigy followed by some Australia dates. I’m already thinking about my next visual show…
