Pop culture is huge topic for artists today.

Berlin-based digital artist Tony Futura takes this idea and morphs his work into a cultural statement. His visually pleasing pieces are simple but vibrant. He incorporates major symbols of consumerism and pairs it with a stark, solidly colored background. From social media logos, to iconic television characters to celebrities, to drugs, each image is purposeful and comedic. It parodies the obsession around certain items due to the media and information available online. Futura uses his clever editing expertise and excellent design skills to make work that leaves us wanting more.
