“The idea is to experience pure liberation” – Seb Lyall, Founder

The Bunyadi, London’s first naked restaurant offers visitors a unique means to be able to dine fully naked.

Located in London’s SE1 and with a waiting list of 46,000 Bunyadi opened its doors on 11 June this year. The eatery offers an all natural experience, serving food on handmade clay plates with edible cutlery and Bunyadi even functions with no gas or electricity.

It is considered a “pangea-like” environment, as guests remove their clothes and are given a robe to wear or remove whilst dining.

“Absolutely LOVED every moment of my visit. Every detail has been well planned and perfectly executed – even the cocktails in the bar area. Avo in a cocktail… Something that will make you frown but oh my, you must try it! The presentation is incredible, the flavours will spoil your taste buds, the service is fantastic.

The experience – once in a life time!” – a review given to the restaurant on its facebook page.

Seb Lyall, founder of the company Lollipop and The Bunyadi said,

“We have worked very hard to design a space where everything patrons interact with is bare and naked.”

“We believe people should get the chance to enjoy and experience a night out without any impurities: no chemicals, no artificial colours, no electricity, no gas, no phone and even no clothes if they wish to.”
