Hipster Typographic Art by Marion de Lauzun

French artist Marion de Lauzun puts a new twist on hipster art. Instead of just seeing hipster essentials – glasses, hats, mustaches – we see them made of beautiful white letters. Typography artworks shape hipster objects in stark black and white.

Now in Paris, Lauzun uses graphic design to create these images. The outline of a hat, either beret, bowler or tophat, is made of French words like “je taime,” meaning “I love you,” and “Olala.” In addition, the characters have glasses in the classic shapes of round or cat eye. Finally either lips or a wonderfully hipster mustache completes the illustration. Lauzan shows French hipsters in a new and cool way.
