Grand Prix Ball 2018 at The Hurlingham Club pre lunch at The World’s End Market

On Friday 20th April 2018 at The World’s End Market in Chelsea, for the Grand Prix Hurlingham Club Ball press lunch, celebrity guests such as Celebs Go Dating’s Lady Nadia Essex and London Hughes, Made in Chelsea’s Tina Stinnes, Alik Alfus, Francesca Newman Young and Sam Prince as well as TV presenter Olivia Cox joined guests for a sunny afternoon of lunch and cocktails hosted by the original Top Gear stig Perry McCarthy.

GP Management’s Jonny Dodge gave a thrilling speech on the grand ambitions of his company moving forward into future. Perry McCarthy also gave a speech about his days as a top racer and being on the legendary Top Gear.

The World’s End Market restaurant in Chelsea brings a delicious new seasonal Spring lunch menu featuring the freshest market sources ingredients. The World’s End Market restaurant is located on King’s Road in a stunning multi-tiered Grade 1 listed establishment.

The ground floor of the World’s End Market houses a 70-cover restaurant, stripped back and uncomplicated in design; Reclaimed wooden crates have been re worked to create the woodwork on the walls and bar. Continuing the theme of reclaimed materials even some of the Harry Potter Hogwarts set, predominantly and impressive doorframe, has been incorporated into the design. This Grade 2 listed building took over 20 months to restore. Flooded with natural light, this high-ceilinged dining area is evocative of a 1930s canteen.

The new three course lunch menu blends exotic flavours with fresh salads. For starters, you can enjoy Super quinoa salad with pumpkin seeds, pomegranate, rocket, sweet pepper and lime dressing exploding with flavour. For those looking for fresh fish Green gazpacho with salmon tartare is new to the menu.

Coming onto mains there is a Baked sea bream and cherry tomato sauce and dilled rice, great for pescatarians. A spicy chermoula chicken with Israeli couscous brings a touch of a middle east to Chelsea. Asian style grilled beef with rice noodle salad is a lighter dish to enjoy perfect when accompanied by potato gnocchi with sun blushed tomatoes, green beans & pesto sauce.

The top dish being the Halal certified Chuleta de Vaca Cow, Bone-in Rib Eye Steak. Which is cooked to perfection by in house chef Tony Sanders.

On Wednesday 4th July 2018 GP Management will host the 8th Annual Grand Prix Ball at The Hurlingham Club. Expect to join the stars of the Grand Prix on the red carpet. The ball will be hosted right on the Thames at Hurlingham Club’s splendid 42-acre estate. Widely considered as one of the world’s top private members clubs. On arrival guests will enjoy walking down the red carpet and perhaps get the opportunity to snap a selfie with their racing hero!

A glamorous black-tie drinks reception will commence, with ice cold glasses of champagne served while guests enjoy a traditional F1 demonstration which will ignite the tarmac and set the evening onto the right track, there will be a lavish three course dinner to enjoy while being surrounded by F1 greats. After dinner there will the opportunity to mingle among a stunning display of iconic stationary F1 cars. While being entertained with live performances by UK artists and DJs as well as being able to participate in a live auction of desirable prizes.

David Coulthard MBE and legendary British F1 driver will be driving and entertaining crowds on the Hurlingham Clubs expansive grounds in the incredible Red Bull RB8.
