Launching on 19th March, Iron Stag is bringing big laughs to your Tuesday nights with a brand-new weekly comedy night, Hoxton Comedy Club.
The weekly crowd-funded comedy night will take place every Tuesday night from 8pm and is hosted by the immensely talented Jay Handley. A regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, Jay, aka ‘’White Jesus’, has performed at legendary comedy venues including The Comedy Store, The Stands, Jongleurs and many more.
Each week, Jay will be bringing a new line-up of the UK’s funniest men and women who are guaranteed to leave you in stitches. There’ll be sets from some of London’s most talked about up-and-coming amateur comedians as well as some familiar faces from some of the UK’s top TV comedy shows.
And of course, Iron Stag will be serving up some seriously good bar snacks and drinks with a special Comedy Night menu –the perfect way to fuel your night of laughs. For just £9.50, enjoy a glass of house white or red wine, or a pint of lager or pale ale, accompanied by your pick of one of Iron Stag’s delicious bar snacks. Some of the irresistible highlights from the menu include Cheese Doughnuts, Haggis Bon Bons, Pork Puffed Crackling with Apple, and Heritage carrot with hazelnut and mint.
For its first night, Hoxton Comedy Club will be headlined by the award-winning Nathan Caton, as seen on Live At The Apollo and Mock The Week. There’ll also be side-splitting new material from the likes of Phileo Huff, Alistair Willliams, Darran Griffiths and Alexander Oliver.
