Street Artist Creates Origami Graffiti Made From Paper

Artist Mademoiselle Maurice creates street art graffiti using origami and is made of paper instead of spray paint.

Multi-coloured paper is used to create each hand crafted origami, layout of every individual folded piece is essential to create the dramatic and awe-inspiring displays. Sometimes Maurice includes texts in her street art and others, intricate detailed patterns.

A recent piece of her work is featured at the Singapore Museum of National Art (below) and it narrates Maurices signature of working with paper, colour and structure.

Appearing entwined as a rainbow, this sculpture adds a 3D element to her work which often isn’t visible as most of her installations are dotted around walls and streets.
