Angelo Bressanutti’s minimalist photos humanize objects

Sometimes less is more.

That’s Angelo Bressanutti‘s motto when is comes to photography. In his series “Daily Notebook,” he captures minimalist images that speak to larger conceptual ideas such as individualism and depression. He uses these images to express his everyday experiences through material objects. He is responding to the need of viewing ourselves as objects and identifying ourselves in things that aren’t living but still have human qualities.

Bressanutti’s series tries to portray the idea that an urban landscape can also mimic that landscape that is also inside, where trivial things can be viewed as beautiful.
