Roy’s Art Fair is coming back to Shoreditch

The 8th edition of Roy’s Art Fair is heading East, bringing you accessibility, affordability and a unique way of viewing and buying art. This spring, Roy’s is returning to the glorious Truman Brewery located just off Brick Lane in Shoreditch, the very heart of East London’s creative hub.

Following a successful return in 2021, Roy’s will be host to over 80 artists who have been handpicked and carefully curated to bring you a finely tuned and ambitious event. As the only artist-run art fair, the Roy’s team pride themselves in supporting their exhibiting artists with their vast knowledge and experience within the art industry, offering both artists and buyers a uniquely personal experience.

Roy’s Art Fair is an approachable way to discover and celebrate a community of artists. Bringing you artists of all mediums and experience. This Spring, Roy’s Art Fair is excited to announce our special guest features:

HIPPO SCREENPRINTERS: A fine art printmaking studio, specialising in hand-pulled screen print editions for artists, art galleries, interior designers and publishers. The studio is run by professional exhibiting artists Lynne Blackburn and Ian Bailey. They have been screen-printing high-quality editions for many established, and emerging artists nationally and internationally, for over 10 years. This fair, they return with an exclusive limited edition print release by East London Street Artist, Perspicere @perspicereartist

Gary Mansfield, Ministry of Arts Podcast: The Ministry of Arts Podcast is possibly the World’s most accessible art podcast.

‘It’s presenter, artist & curator Gary Mansfield talks to emerging, established and world renowned artists each week in his quite unique manner.Gary’s booming Cockney voice and jovial approach, is a breath of fresh air for those within the art world and a beacon to those that thought it inaccessible.’ @mizogart

The Misfortuneteller: Welcome to Dark Therapy, and the bittersweet truths of The Misfortune Teller.

‘For the first time in a long time, I’ll be delivering bespoke dark prophecies (aka ‘Misfortunetellings’) to anyone brave enough to hear them. What’s that, I hear you wonder? Well basically, you come and sit opposite me and we have a short but penetrating chat about life, love and all that. Then, after a brief consultation with the spirit world, I’ll write a bespoke dark prophecy for you to take away and hang on your wall. Tissues will be provided.’ – @themisfortuneteller

Other Highlights include:

The team at Roy’s Art Fair are all artists in their own right and offer their invaluable expertise and support to both emerging and established artists as they navigate the art world. Their focus is primarily on developing a community led spirit initiated by artists to connect directly with the public and promote both the artists’ and buyers’ interests first.

‘Founded in 2017, Roy’s Art Fair had been growing exponentially year on year, becoming one of the most popular events in London to discover and buy artworks directly from artists. As the COVID19 Pandemic struck, many opportunities were lost for artists exhibiting at art fairs and galleries. As we emerge from the pandemic we are focused on bringing London’s cultural scene back to life and once again providing a free entry, welcoming fair for all to discover their next favourite artist’ – Roy Tyson, Founder
