Ethereal UK Producer Nowun RELEASES ‘Unsaid’ Single

UK-born Electronic producer Nowun released his new single ‘Unsaid’ on the 24th of March via the Deep Heads imprint. Following electronic producer Feverkin’s single ‘Element & Moderate’, ‘Unsaid’ is the second single to be shared from the record label’s latest compilation, Cosmic Vibrations Vol. 4, which is slated for release on the 26th of May. Nowun is an exciting new addition to the label, featuring on the fourth edition of the Cosmic Vibrations series alongside the likes of Bonobo, Richard Spaven, Jordan Rakei, Quantic, Synkro, BADBADNOTGOOD, Nosaj Thing, Lone, Liminka, Deep Heads founder Zeb Samuels (of course), Hidden Orchestra, and Yonderling

Nowun has previously landed placements on official Spotify editorial playlists Lofi Beats, lofi + Chill, and Lofi Sleep, helping him earn over 12 million streams on Spotify alone. His music has also been featured on the Apple Music playlist Bedtime Beats and appeared on prominent Youtube channels MrSuicideSheep, Lofi Girl, and College Music to name a few.

Born in the UK, based in Brighton, producer and composer George Toft, better known as Nowun, is causing waves in both the Lofi and the Ambient music scene, having collaborated with talents like Hoogway and Lenny Loops as well as Ambient producer Dokkodo Sounds among others. His compositions are warm, offering listeners a never-ending source of good vibes. As a pianist, he draws influences from Classical artists Ólafur Arnalds, Ole-Bjørn Talstad, and Hideyuki Hashimoto, while, as a producer, he takes inspiration from Catching Flies. The result is a sound comparable to cxlt., Antent, and Øneheart.

Lush soundscapes and divine melodies pulse through Nowun’s music, alive with complex simplicity. ‘Unsaid’ illustrates his unique sound in a beat-less layering of pads, gorgeous synths, and keys, all performed by George Toft himself, an artist who draws from his Lofi background to deliver an array of beautiful frequencies in a short and sweet musical narrative.
