Sadler’s Sampled is a new two week festival of dance at Sadler’s Wells, the UK’s leading dance house. An extension of the popular Sampled showcase, Sadler’s Sampled offers audiences the opportunity to try out a new dance experience, with a range of dance styles on offer and tickets starting at just £8. With productions from some of the world’s leading dance makers the programme includes a showcase of three of our own productions in Made at Sadler’s Wells, contemporary dance from Rosas, hip hop, ballet and tango in Sampled, and Hofesh Shechter’s epic production Political Mother: The Choreographer’s Cut, as well as talks, classes and films going on around the building.

Legendary contemporary choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s most fascinating work, set to Steve Reich’s seminal score, performed live by contemporary music ensemble Ictus.

Friday 28 & Saturday 29 June
Sadler’s Wells’ annual showcase of the best moments from the Autumn season, including Stuttgart Ballet, highlights from the hugely successful Breakin’ Convention and a performance by the current Tango World Champions.

Hofesh Shetchter’s groundbreaking work returns to Sadler’s Wells with it revamped Choreographer’s Cut edition. Celebrated for it its unforgettable rock gig atmosphere Political Mother features 16 dancers and 24 musicians.
During the festival there will be activity taking place around the theatre from 6.30pm including:
An interactive art instillation by Sophia Clist; Sampled Lounge, pre show discussion with a variety of speakers talking about dance and the evening’s show; Award-winning short films from idill the international dance online short film festival; Post show contemporary, tango and break dancing classes.
