The ‘Global Justice Now’ organization, dedicated to the global fight for social and economic equality, with the help of the ‘Diversity Art Forum’ has brought Rosario Martínez Llaguno and Roberto Vega Jiménez all the way from Oaxaca, Mexico to show their art. The two are part of the Lapiztola Collective that is routed in their community and its surrounding political issues. Their works is highly politically charged, and has highlighted issues like the disappearance of school children, the cult of drug lords, and the use of genetically modified corn. Some of their work is created during large protests, though the more intricate street art takes days to develop.
