Approaching its’ 6th year Hackney WickED remains dedicated to providing a platform for artists to showcase their work alongside established and international names.
As the Olympic dust settles Team WickED are pleased to announce that 2013 will see Hackney WickED return to a three-day festival program; championing creativity through Art Exhibitions, Film Screenings, Open Studios, Fate for the WickED, Acoustic Music, Workshops, Talks, Tours, Critical Debates, performance and more…
Hackney WickED continues to evolve, adapting to the changing social and built environment whilst remaining a dynamic force for promoting local culture.
This years event will not include any large music stages or late night events. Unlicensed events are strictly forbidden. The councils, police and Hackney WickED Team will be patrolling the area during 16th, 17th and 18th August ensuring that all events taking place are licensed where appropriate and have the correct H&S paperwork in place.
