The Travelling Tavern At London Fields Brewery

Rumpus, London’s most infamous night out, is proud to invite you to its little sister, The Travelling Tavern, alighting at London Fields Brewery on 28th February.

Rebelling against the electronic age, The Travelling Tavern unites swing, blues, gypsy jazz, ceilidh dancing, gramophone DJs and a kazoo orchestra for an unforgettable night, just like they used to make them.
Bringing you the best in bootleg blues, juke joint jazz and howling hoedown all night long, the Travelling Tavern will be serving up fine ales, even finer musicians, and the most fabulous-footed crowd in fair London town, celebrating the best of yesteryear catapulted through mystical spacetime for your partying pleasure today.

Born in the swamps of Louisiana and left sleeping in an accordion case in an old abandoned tavern with only the ghosts of old piano players to raise her, Rumpus’ little sister brings her troupe of furious troubadours, wild-eyed minstrels, and wayfaring wanderers on 28th of Feb at London Fields Brewery.

Making delicious beers from traditional recipes and original concoctions, the Brewery are as precise and passionate about their craft as the Rumpus family’s fine flurry of musicians are about theirs. And if you get peckish, the besuited gentlemen of What the Dickens will be serving up Victorian style street food through the wee hours until breakfast.
