In Jan 2014 Twenty Something London set out to uncover London-towns 10 best burgers. Our intrepid team of five tried over 52 burgers from a shortlist of 20 eateries thanks to the help of over 200 reader submissions. The result; TSL presents London’s Top 10 Burgers 2014 (full list below). And what better way to celebrate the release than to launch BURGER FEST 2014 – bringing together five of the burger legends – Honest Burgers, Mother Flipper, Wild Game Co, Street Kitchen and Burger Craft – for one day only, 15th March 2014, under one roof at Hackney Downs Studios. Burger anyone?
Following the sold out success of TSL’s Riverboat Food Fest last year, get ready, because this March we’re back with our first event of 2014. Prepare for a jam-packed day of bun-based business, with five of London’s top traders; Wild Game Co., Honest Burger, Mother Flipper, Burger Craft, Street Kitchen to celebrate the release of our London’s Top 10 Burgers list here. Our burger hunt scoured 20 places chosen from over 200 reader submissions and we’ve managed to assemble 5 of London’s best under one roof at Hackney Downs Studios.
What’s in store:
For this full day of burger appreciation, on top of sampling the creations of our five burger gods, we’re having the team at Öff-Beat run the bar and DJ sets from the lot at Young & Lost Club and Stamp the Wax playing the tunes whilst you chill out in our massive living room for you to call home; think comfy sofas, board games, and more. First release tickets are £30 (second release £35) and will get you 5 half burgers (list of vendors below), a bacon & maple syrup cupcake (veggie option also available) with a side of vanilla cookie fries for dessert from Cupcakes and Shhht, plus, if you arrive before 17:30 you’ll get a free bottle of Brew Dog beer. As is our way there’ll obviously be a well stocked bar, incredible food and great music right through from 15:30 till 23.30. Oh and we’ve got our friends at Uber sorting out your travel as they’ll be giving everyone, yep including existing users, 50% off their cab rides on the night (the code will only work if you are travelling to or from the venue that day).
