Barcelona based graphic designers 3DN, Javier Jabalera, Pol Trias and Julia Rosich embarked on this graphic intervention, as they called it, back in 2012 entitled Everything is Ending.
They made a 3D world map entirely out of matchsticks and then set it on fire. They thought it would be the best way to say goodbye to the earth if it really was going to end, as the Mayans had predicted. An interesting and fun project to say the least, take a look at it from start to fiery end.
