Following the roaring sell-out success of the first Moretti Gran Tour, the Italian street food market is back by popular demand to bring the authentic taste of Italy to London once again but this time with a winter twist.  On 6th-8th November Londoners will have the chance to sample Birra Moretti and the best of the Italian street food under one roof, in a celebration of authentic Italian cuisine. Hosted by the premium Italian lager brand Birra Moretti, the Moretti Gran Tour cherry picks the key names in the UK street food movement to offer an unrivalled taste of Italian culture, offering warming Italian dishes for the winter season.

Held in The Lofts, 3-10 Shoreditch High Street, premium Italian street vendors will be creating exclusive winter menus for Birra Moretti from different regions of the country, from Sicilian Arancini stew to chocolate and venison tortellini from Lombardia, transforming London into a traditional Italian street food market.

Tickets cost £10 from http://moretti-gran-tour.designmynight.com and include a Birra Moretti along with two plates of food and a Gelato as well as access to all master classes and music provided by the Book Club resident DJ Jimmy Plates.

David Lette, Brand Director – World Larger comments “Birra Moretti’s first Gran Tour, in July 2014, saw tickets selling out in record time after overwhelming demand and everybody really enjoyed the event. Birra Moretti has long been associated with great beer, great food and great company, so we are really excited to be able to yet again build on our involvement in the street food explosion and bring together some of the best Italian regional cuisines in London and create an authentic Italian cultural experience, complemented by the crisp refreshing taste of Birra Moretti”

Birra Moretti uses a special blend of high quality hops that gives it a unique taste and fragrance, enhancing its perfectly balanced bitter taste. The light golden beer made in the traditional way has remained almost unchanged since 1859.

Food vendors include London-based gelateria’s Gelupo, Roasticini, and Forza Win, who will be hosting demonstrations as well as tasting experiences. Entrants will also be treated to an introduction to Italian cuisine by the host, Joe Hurd, from award winning Italian Restaurant L’Anima, and founder of Italian food stall “Joey’s Anglo-Italian Good Eats”.
