Audi-City Berlin has launched a new creative campaign to showcase the innovators of today with an important question to answer – „What drives you“. They interviewed inspiring personalities on their goals, dreams and ideas at places that have had a major influence on their private and professional lives. In the first video Berlin’s Burger Queen Kavita Meelu shares her inspiration for burgers as she was one of the first to pick up the Megatrend food and thus received the „Innovationspreis“ (Innovation Award“) of the City of Berlin in 2013. Originally from Birmingham, Kavita moved to Berlin & years ago because she fell in love. Since then she shows Berliners how the world eats – she has realized numerous food projects, among those are Mother’s Mother, StreetFood Thursday and Burgers & Hip Hop. According to Kavita, food can be democratic, too – everybody likes burgers and everybody can dance to HipHop and because she thought it would be fun to eat and dance or dance after eating, she initiated Burgers& HipHop and developed Berlin Burger Map. With her creative projects Kavita wants to promote a discourse on cultural integration and communication – through the most common denominator and everybody’s basic need: food. She supports Berlin’s emerging creative cuisine community and talents to express themselves and live their dream. Like herself.
Users, who consider themselves as #progressivepeople as well, can share their projects with Audi website. The most interesting projects will be selected and introduced by a personalized social video campaign in 2015. Share your progressive project on progressivepeople@audicityberlin.de.
