Be A Daybreaker

Last week saw the launch of the live performances at London’s new haunt, the Sky Garden. The aim of the  Daybreakers event was to shake Londoners out of their daily routine and start the day in a positive way rather than the hectic everyday commute that so many of us endure. 7AM was an early call time, but so worth it with performances from Hudson Taylor and Lizzyspit in partnership with Lipton Ice Tea. Once transported up 35 floors in the lift, we took in the incredible views of London and revitalised ourselves with Lipton Ice Tea. The light airy space offered by the Sky Garden is accompanied by plants, this combined with the height of the building creates a relaxed and calm feeling that certainly helped take the edge off the early start. After everyone had strolled around the area, Lizzyspit took to the stage, followed by pop brother duo Hudson Taylor. The intimate gig was agreed to be the earliest and also the highest gig both acts had ever played – yet strangely it felt totally normal to be seeing bands at 7:30AM, maybe this will catch on!
