Windows of the World

We’ve seen I Have This Thing With Floors, and I Just Really Like Doors, now it appears that the obsession has spread to windows. Whilst the former two Instagram accounts are a collection of interior appreciation, the new project from Portuguese photographer Andre Vicente Concalves is a curation of his favourite windows he has encountered on his travels. Whilst many of us choose to photograph cityscapes of varying countries, focusing on their differences, we often fail to study the similarities. Concalves travels the world, putting into practise what he learnt from his photography education, and collects these window photos to highlight the singularity of the diverse range of cities he visits. The beautiful collection exemplifies the unified structures we so often overlook in architecture, as Concalves explains, he is “always ready to create outstanding imagery anywhere in the world for creative minds like yours”. Be sure to check out his other amazing projects, and feed your creativity.
