One of Time Out’s top five comedy clubs in London is bringing a monthly night to Hackney with a host of top acts lined up for its launch on Wednesday 13 January. TV favourite Romesh Ranganathan , critically acclaimed performance poet Tim Key and double Edinburgh Award winner John Kearns are on the bill for Knockbag Comedy Night’s debut at E9’s newest party venue, MOTH Club. Also appearing are Malcom Hardee Award recipient Candy Gigi and British Comedy Award winner Aisling Bea (MC). Tickets are only £8 advance and everyone can make a real night of it as MOTH’s bar is open until late.
Knock2bag, which is renowned for its unrivalled eclectic line-ups of the biggest names and hottest new acts, runs a long-established big Saturday show at Rich Mix in Shoreditch. It also produces Cardinal Burns presents…, a monthly night hosted by Channel 4 sketch stars Seb Cardinal and Dustin Demri-Burns, which launched at MOTH Club last October.
