2 DAYS – 4 STAGES: LONDON REMIXED FESTIVAL 2016

The LONDON REMIXED FESTIVAL 2016 will be held from 8p.m. – 1a.m. Friday 5th February and from 8p.m. – 4a.m Saturday 5th February in Shoreditch.

LONDON REMIXED FESTIVAL is a celebration of the best emerging musical talent and genres. There will be performances from over 25 bands and DJs, over 2 days and across 4 stages, all in one vibrant venue nested in the heart of Shoreditch.

London is a powerhouse of musical innovation. The London Remixed Festival is showcasing selections of Latin Grooves, Afrobeats, Tropical Bass, Vintage-Remix, Desert Remix, Balkan Beats, Urban Roots, Acoustic Soundclash and Brass Band Remix.

This year’s headliners include Symphonica FT Mr Switch, 47SOUL, K.O.G and the Zongo Brigade, and Honeyfeet.

The producers of one of the most rocking festival stages across the globe, Continental Drifts, are excited to be back, joining forces once again with their long standing musical partners Movimientos, Wormfood, Two for Joy, Woodburner, Polka Club and some new ones Vibes and Pressure and Arts Canteen for the return of LONDON REMIXED FESTIVAL 2016.

From the producers behind Glastonbury’s legendary Shangri-La stage, via rocking tents at Bestival, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown, Wilderness, Lovebox and Kendal Calling, they bring the one of the best festival starters of 2016.

On Friday, Continental Drifts teamed up with CM Sounds to host a day of free ‘Remix Workshops’ at their school with professional music production tutors and established music producers. Along with sessions for beginners and intermediate remixers running throughout the day, there will be another Remix Speed Dating session for bands, producers and industry bodies to meet up, swap ideas and discuss future possible collaborations at Rich Mix.
