History class is the standard definition of boring. It always has the same old textbooks with with pages full of dry language that makes us want to fall asleep with our eyes wide open.

This time, we learned history not from paper pages in textbooks but from paper animations in a new short film published by National Geographic. It transforms the old, musty textbook information into a whimsical story made entirely out of paper. It’s not just 40 years of London’s history or 400, it’s 40,000. In an almost 3 minute long video, we learn what London was like from the Stone Age up until present day. The many layers of London’s history suddenly become utterly fascinating in this creative short. Take a look!
